Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel
The IWMF’s annual Educational Forum is a unique opportunity for patients and caregivers to learn about the disease from specialists in Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia (WM) who are involved in many areas of clinical practice and research. Presentations, aimed at the layperson, address symptoms and complications of the disease, current treatment options, new therapies on the horizon, and recent research findings that may someday lead to a cure. Breakout sessions permit in-depth exploration of specialized topics, and opportunities for patients and caregivers to share their experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Triage Cancer Speaker Jamie Ledezma, Esq. will be moderating a breakout session on “Financial and Insurance Issues” on May 19th from 3:45-4:45.
IWMF has negotiated a special rate at the Renaissance of $144/night, which is guaranteed for three days before and after the Educational Forum for a limited number of rooms. You can make online reservations or call 1-602-333-0000 or Toll-Free 1-800-309-8138 and mention the code “Int. Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia” to obtain the special room rate, which will be available until April 26.
