Cancer and Careers is holding their seventh annual Midwest Conference on Work & Cancer this year. This conference is a free daylong event, geared toward learning more about the complexities of balancing treatment and recovery with employment. The conference is recommended for patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals and anyone else touched by cancer or interested in learning more about the unique issues faced when balancing a career with a cancer diagnosis. Some of the topics covered at this years conference include: disclosure, privacy and online branding, working through treatment, managing finances, returning to work, and health insurance options. Triage Cancer’s Monica Bryant, Esq. will be leading sessions on employment, health insurance, and managing finances.
