Accreditation Information

Nurses

Triage Cancer is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses who meet the requirements will be awarded 6 contact hours.

360 minutes of instruction/60 minutes = 6 contact hours

Social Workers

Triage Cancer, #1689, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Triage Cancer maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 08/26/2020 to 08/26/2023. Social workers completing this course receive 6 continuing education credit.

Triage Cancer is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0626. Social Workers completing this course will receive 6 contact hours.

This course, Insurance & Finances Crash Course, Approval #07292002-1698, provided by Triage Cancer is approved for continuing education by the New Jersey Social Work Continuing Education Approval Collaborative, which is administered by NASW-NJ. CE Approval Collaborative Approval Period: Friday, July 29, 2022 through August 31, 2024. New Jersey social workers will receive 6 CE credits for participating in this course.

Triage Cancer is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities.

Other Professionals

If you would like a general certificate of completion, you must indicate that when completing the evaluation form. You must attend the entire event.

Evaluation forms are emailed after the event and are required for a certificate. You will also receive a post-test, which is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.

Requirements to Receive Credit (all professionals)

Attendance

In order to receive CE/contact hour/PDC, attendees must register individually. Participants who “listen in” on another participant’s phone/computer will not be eligible for credit. Participants must attend the entire event. No partial credit will be given.

Post-test & Evaluation

Participants will be emailed a link to the online evaluation and post-test one day after the completion of the Insurance & Finance Intensive and will have one week to complete both. Participants must receive a passing grade (80%) on the post-test to receive CEs/Contact Hours (please note: this is not required for patient advocates and HR professionals). Participants who do not pass the post-test will be given one opportunity to re-take the test. Instructions and a link to re-take the exam will be emailed to every participant who does not receive a passing grade on the post-test. If participants do not pass the post-test on the second attempt they will not receive credit.

Certificates

The relevant certificates will be emailed to eligible attendees within 4 weeks of the event.
