Accreditation Information
Nurses: Triage Cancer is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses who meet the requirements will be awarded 6 contact hours.
360 minutes of instruction/60 minutes = 6 contact hours
Social Workers: Triage Cancer, #1689, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Triage Cancer maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 08/26/2020 to 08/26/2023. Social workers completing this course receive 6 continuing education credit.
Triage Cancer is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0626. Social Workers completing this course will receive 6 contact hours.
This course, Insurance & Finance Intensive , Approval #200708-1642, provided by Triage Cancer is approved for continuing education by the New Jersey Social Work Continuing Education Approval Collaborative, which is administered by NASW-NJ. CE Approval Collaborative Approval Period: Tuesday, September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2022. New Jersey social workers will receive 6 General CE credits for participating in this course.
Requirements: Participants will be emailed a link to the online evaluation and post-test one day after the completion of the Intensive and will have one week to complete both. Participants must receive a passing grade (80%) on the post-test to receive CEs/Contact Hours. Participants who do not pass the post-test will be given one opportunity to re-take the test. Instructions and a link to re-take the exam will be emailed to every participant who does not receive a passing grade on the post-test. If participants do not pass the post-test on the second attempt they will not receive credit. Please note: participants must attend both days to be eligible for continuing education/contact hours.
The relevant certificates will be emailed to eligible attendees within 4 weeks of the event.
