Madison McMahon Ward, MPH
Madison is the Program Coordinator for Triage Cancer, providing event coordination, communications, and programmatic support.
Previously, Madison interned at various public health nonprofit organizations in Chicago, such as Deborah’s Place and Respiratory Health Association. During her time at Deborah’s Place, she hosted weekly health education sessions for individuals experiencing homelessness to empower them to achieve their health-related goals. She gained practical experience with public health issues and health education. At Respiratory Health Association, she created public health educational resources on climate change mitigation strategies and environmental justice.
Madison earned a Masters of Public Health and a BS in Environmental Science from Loyola University Chicago. She has a passion for working towards social justice to eliminate health disparities and the opportunity to help others is a great motivator in her life.
She believes strongly in Triage Cancer’s mission to address cancer-related health disparities through the delivery of cancer-related education and collaborative efforts.
