Through Triage Cancer’s Speakers Bureau, cancer centers, hospitals, cancer organizations, and other groups that are coordinating educational events or cancer conferences can be connected with expert speakers on various cancer survivorship issues.
Triage Cancer's Speakers Bureau also includes cancer survivors and caregivers who have experience sharing their cancer journey with a variety of audiences. If you are planning an event, it is a good idea to request speakers as early as possible. Some of our speakers are often booked months in advance.

Trained in dental oncology, Lauren Levi, D.M.D., is a general dentist who provides care to cancer patients and is committed to delivering comprehensive oral care. She has extensive experience treating patients who are receiving chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and stem cell transplants and who face individualized dental needs because of these treatment programs.
Dr. Levi received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Barnard College of Columbia University. She obtained her doctor of dental medicine (D.M.D.) degree from The University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she received an award for excellence in oral medicine. In dental school, Dr. Levi was actively involved in community outreach, delivering dental care to indigent populations in Florida and central Ecuador. After graduating, she completed a general practice residency program at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. As a resident, she developed a broad skillset treating pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the operatory and operating room. Her clinical experience has included removable and fixed prosthodontics, endodontic therapy, surgical extractions, surgical procedures with LASERs, performing biopsies, restoring implants, and treating patients with Invisalign.
Due to her strong interest in oral medicine, Dr. Levi completed a dental oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) after her residency. While at MSKCC, she gained substantial training performing dental procedures on patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and stem cell transplants. She has expertise in assessing and managing the oral manifestations of head and/or neck surgery and osteonecrosis and osteoradionecrosis of the jaw. Her areas of focus also include caring for pediatric patients, managing patients with solid and liquid tumors, and treating other non-malignant oral pathological conditions. At MSKCC, she gained additional education in tobacco and alcohol cessation and completed rotations in radiation oncology and head and neck surgery. With her knowledge of both the physical and psychological effects of cancer on patients requiring dental care, she is dedicated to enhancing the lives of cancer patients.
