Triage Cancer goes out of their way to track down information and advice to serve those fighting daily battles with cancer. I have helped answer questions for them when it comes to Social Security Disability, but I see how the members of their organization will search low and high to connect their community member with someone that can truly solve the problem that the person is dealing with. Fighting cancer is hard enough. Triage Cancer helps its constituents solve their various concerns, so a patient can focus on the cancer treatment and not all the other issues that arise when one is dealing with a cancer diagnosis. This nonprofit is truly run by the most compassionate individuals, who all have had personal experiences with the toll that cancer takes on one's life.
“Probably one of the best and most educational conferences I have ever attended. I found the day to empower me to educate myself, others, and our patients to understand their financial rights and needs!”

As an academic psychiatrist/psycho-oncologist who has done research and provided clinical care to people with cancer for decades, I am deeply impressed by the compassionate but hard-headed approach Triage Cancer takes to helping with financial stress, which is a major problem in our fragmented health care system. They fill a gap in support that makes life tangibly better for people with cancer and their families. There are many fine support organizations dealing with the emotional aspects of cancer, but little help for these concrete problems that profoundly complicate living with the illness. I admire their dedication and expertise.

Triage Cancer has done their research! One of the most challenging parts of cancer survivorship is access to information and resources about the topics that are relevant to survivors no matter where they are in their survivorship. Triage Cancer provides a diversity of topics and speakers that will engage any and all cancer survivorship audiences (and the professionals who care for them). From the practical issues of managing finances and insurance to the emotional and spiritual well-being after cancer, Triage Cancer provides a dynamic and interactive format for survivors to learn how to better navigate their cancer survivorship. Ultimately, leaving with tools and resources to feel more empowers in their survivorship.

I've been a trial lawyer for 40 years, and know way too much about cancer. After a medical and legal cancer crisis for a loved one, I went looking to find other lawyers who understand cancer issues. That search led to the two leaders of Triage Cancer, Joanna Morales and Monica Bryant. Both are lawyers who combine all the key skills: substantive expertise, practical advice, clear communication and continuous excellence. They set the standard for the entire organization, and are by far the most respected and trusted in the nation.

"Triage Cancer has single handedly been one of the most useful resources I have come across since I began working in the field of oncology social work. All of their staff is so well versed in the complex needs my patients have and are so willing to help with answering difficult questions I have. Whether it be quick guides or video webinars, I know any time I refer a patient to Triage Cancer's resources they are getting the best information out there on how to handle their needs."
