Soraya Tabibi Aguirre, JD, EPLS, AEP®, is a Partner at Aguirre Riley, P.C. with offices in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada where she provides advice on the full range of estate and family business planning issues. She is also licensed by the State Bars of California and New York, extending her reach of services beyond Nevada residents.

Having over 20 years of experience, Soraya is frequently engaged by high-net-worth clients to help them achieve their wealth transfer goals. Soraya advises individual, corporate, and tax-exempt clients regarding numerous personal legal matters, complex estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, family wealth transfer dynamics, business structuring and succession planning, asset protection, and philanthropy.

Prior to starting Aguirre Riley, Soraya was a partner with Holland and Hart in Reno, leading the Tax and Estate Planning group for Nevada. Before moving to Nevada in 2006, Soraya was an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell’s New York office and served as a member of that firm’s Estates & Executive Compensation groups.

Soraya has been recognized by Mountain States Super Lawyers® several times as a Rising Star, and by Best Lawyers ® in the 25th-28th Editions of The Best Lawyers in America, with additional recognition given in the publication regarding her work in Trusts and Estates. She became certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist from the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils in 2011, and she is also a Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization. Currently, Soraya sits on the Board of Directors for the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc.

With a passion for healthcare and science, Soraya has served on the University of Nevada Planned Giving Advisory Council, The Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Foundation (4 years as Board President), the Desert Research Institute (DRI) Foundation, and she is the current Secretary for the Triage Cancer Board of Nevada. Soraya is also a member of Nevada Women’s Philanthropy and is dedicated to making a difference in her community through the organization and various other charitable endeavors.

Alexandra Massoud

Alexandra (Ali) Massoud is the VP, Clinical Affairs at Exact Sciences, overseeing the development, execution, and quality of clinical studies to support product development and post-market evidence generation. Patient advocacy and strategic partnerships are key areas of focus. Prior to joining Exact Sciences in 2015, Ali worked at Quintiles (IQVIA) for 7 years, managing clinical operations, sponsor partnerships, and global set up/implementation of RBM clinical trials. Ali’s other industry experience includes in-house and field base site management roles at Amgen. Her therapeutic area experience includes gastroenterology, oncology, hematology, neurology, dermatology, and nephrology. She is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Chicago Chapter and is actively involved with MDIC.

Carey Banner

Carey Banner leads PwC Advisory’s Pricing & Estimation practice, driving pricing and operational excellence strategy through its ecosystem of tools to better ensure desired behaviors and outcomes for its $13B business.  She has multiple years of experience driving the tech-enablement and adoption of PwC’s deliverables-based estimation strategy as well as the evolution of its estimation methodology based on practitioner feedback, changing business trends, and competitive landscape.  She pulls from her broad Consulting background to drive critical profitability, standardization and user experience initiatives as well as strategize on the future state of the practice.

Prior to her Pricing & Estimation roles, Ms. Banner spent over 17 years helping companies navigate disputes and fraud investigations as well as identifying and managing financial controls, risk, waste, and abuse. With a focus on data analytics and technology, her analyses have helped clients respond to government mandated disclosures, understand root causes behind fluctuations in key financial reports, and unravel one of the largest Ponzi schemes in US history. She has vast experience analyzing large, complex transactional datasets from various ERPs and other industry specific applications such as Epic and helped her clients respond to both internal and external inquiries and understand their financial and accounting data using analytic and visualization techniques.

Ms. Banner was a featured instructor on PwC’s branded Coursera courses on Data Visualization with Advanced Excel and Effective Business Presentations with PowerPoint, and also taught Fraud Analytics to UCLA Anderson’s Master of Science in Business Analytics students in 2020.

She earned a BBA in Management Information Systems and Marketing, with a minor in Spanish from Ohio University in 2004 and an MBA at the Anderson school at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2014.  She has her Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certification and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Anthony Figueredo

Anthony Figueredo is a Senior Vice President at 24Hour Home Care, a specialized care delivery organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through in-home services including Respite Care, Personal Assistance, and Social Recreation. 24Hour Home Care partners with California’s Department of Developmental Services to provide care to 20,000+ IDD clients across a statewide network of 21 Regional Centers.

Prior to 24Hour Home Care, Anthony held senior leadership roles at PE-backed companies delivering value-based care to Medicare Advantage populations, most notably Landmark Health, which was acquired by Optum (part of UnitedHealth Group) in 2021. Prior to Landmark Health, Anthony worked at DaVita, one of the preeminent kidney care organizations in the world, joining as a summer associate in the company’s international business before returning stateside to serve in progressive leadership roles within corporate strategy, operations, and special projects.

Anthony holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BSBA in Finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He currently resides in San Diego with his wife and two children, and enjoys international travel, foodie adventures, and snowboarding in his downtime.

Soumya John

Soumya John is a Managing Director and the Americas Head of Sanctions at Mizuho Americas, where she oversees the Sanctions Compliance Program across Mizuho’s U.S. operations. With 20 years of experience in the Financial Crimes sector, she has held key roles in compliance, internal audit, and consulting, bringing a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management to her work.

Beyond her professional experience, Soumya has a personal connection to Triage Cancer’s mission as a breast cancer survivor herself. Her journey fuels her commitment to advocacy and awareness, reinforcing the importance of access to critical resources for individuals facing cancer-related challenges.

Soumya holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. She currently resides in New York with her husband and two sons.

Simone Melo

Simone Melo is a Vice President and Banker in the Fort Lauderdale office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Simone connects ultra-high-net-worth clients with strategies for pursuing their wealth management goals today and for future generations. She is committed to building relationships based on personalized, highly attentive service, a deep understanding of what matters most to clients, and her ability to provide access to an extensive array of financial services.

Simone focuses on entrepreneurs and business owners, especially from South Florida’s Latin American community. She offers a boutique-like approach, delivering strategies that may include fiduciary investment management, trust and estate planning services, and customized credit and lending approaches.

An immigrant, a woman of color, and a Stage IV cancer survivor, Simone knows what it takes to persevere and thrive against all odds. Her strengths include significant experience in private banking and wealth management. Clients describe her as relatable, empathetic and determined.

Simone holds an M.B.A. in Global Leadership from MIT, two additional master’s degrees in Business and Management, and a B.S. in Business Administration. Before joining J.P. Morgan, she spent six years at Bank of America Private Bank. She has more than two decades of international business experience.

Passionate about being an influential leader in her community, Simone volunteers with a wide range of nonprofit organizations focusing on entrepreneurship, women and the Black community. Her personal values include a commitment to inclusivity and diversity. Simone is involved in the Black Professionals Network, HOLA, and is an ally to minorities and the LBGTQ community.

She is a member of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, LIDE Miami and United Way of Miami-Dade.

Simone was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and now lives in South Florida. She has become an empty nester, as her twins, Sabrina and Sergio, are in college pursuing their dream careers. She loves to travel and learn about different cultures. She has lived in Brazil, Spain, Switzerland and the United States, and has visited more than 40 countries. Simone holds Series 7, 66 and Life Insurance licenses.

Shawn Roche

Shawn Roche is a business leader and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations execute complex strategic initiatives, improve performance, and build the organizational alignment needed for long-term success.

Shawn was a founding partner of Connors Group, where he served for 18 years in senior leadership roles, most recently as Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors. His experience spans business development, client delivery, workforce planning, and talent acquisition. He helped shape the firm’s people-centered culture, growth strategy, and organizational priorities, and has worked with more than 350 organizations across retail, distribution and logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and service industries.

A collaborative, people-centered leader, Shawn brings experience in board governance, strategic planning, organizational transformation, partnership development, and client engagement. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Stage IIIC cancer survivor, he brings a personal perspective to Triage Cancer’s work supporting people diagnosed with cancer, their caregivers, and the professionals who serve them.

Joseph Vaccaro

Joe is a Principal in KPMG’s Financial Services Tax practice, where he serves as the National Insurance Tax Leader and the New York Banking and Insurance Tax Leader. In these leadership roles, he is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, addressing evolving client needs, and supporting growth across the Banking and Insurance Tax practice.

Prior to joining KPMG, Joe served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Tax at MetLife. He brings more than 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions, reinsurance, and tax planning.

Throughout his career, Joe has built integrated global tax teams within large and complex financial services organizations and has extensive experience optimizing tax department operating models and internal controls. He has also led the development of technology solutions and processes designed to support tax strategy, risk management, and organizational reputation.
