Cancer Support Community: Community is stronger than cancer.

Take Action: Help Others Impacted by Cancer through Sharing Your Experience in an Online Survey

A cancer diagnosis can often feel isolating and overwhelming. However, it does not have to be. So far, more than two thousand participants have completed Cancer Support Community’s Cancer Experience Registry and shared their voices in order to highlight the experiences and needs of others impacted by cancer.

The Cancer Experience Registry is an online survey for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers that helps uncover the emotional, physical, practical, and financial impact of cancer. By harnessing the power of patient and caregiver voices, our survey helps elevate the lived experience of cancer into actionable information that can inform all levels of decision-making. By taking the survey, you can join thousands of others in helping to:

  • Enhance cancer care
  • Improve support services for patients and caregivers
  • Influence healthcare policies

Thus far, CER data have been used to develop distress screening programs for patients and caregivers; to inform educational materials addressing quality of life, financial burden, cancer clinical trials, shared decision-making, and symptom and side-effect management; to support policy recommendations to address inequities in care; and to seek funding for additional support services.

Please share your voice and join the cancer community by taking the Cancer Experience Registry survey today! If you would like to read the stories of participants who have already inspired change by taking the Cancer Experience Registry, visit the Cancer Support Community website.
