23 Sep The Power of Education and Peer Support at Pink Ribbon Good
September 23, 2025 ~ Triage Cancer is proud to collaborate with organizations serving individuals diagnosed with cancer and caregivers. This blog post is from our organizational partner, Pink Ribbon Good.
Education That Empowers
At Pink Ribbon Good (PRG), we believe that everyone facing breast or gynecological cancer deserves free access to the information and support they need every step of the way.
That’s why, in addition to our virtual education programs and peer support groups, we created the PRG Hub, our comprehensive online cancer resource library.
The PRG Hub
The PRG Hub offers articles, tip sheets, and activities for people diagnosed with breast and gynecological cancers and their caregivers. Covering all phases of the treatment pathway-from newly diagnosed to active treatment, survivorship, and advanced or metastatic disease-it also includes a dedicated caregiver section.
In the Hub, you’ll find easy-to-understand, trustworthy information and ideas. Through a selection of articles, tip sheets, and activities, we help you explore important topics such as how to talk to your kids about cancer, how to deal with cancer-related fatigue, tips on prepping for surgery, and journaling prompts.
Leveraging our awareness about the many ways cancer impacts your life, the PRG Hub gives you access to information that may help reduce uncertainty, prepare you for medical appointments, and empower you to make informed decisions about care.
Virtual Education Programs
Through educational programs such as Beyond Diagnosis, our national webinar series, we provide you with access to expert speakers on topics ranging from breast density to neuropathy and biomarker testing to chemobrain. You’ll find a list of virtual events on our Event Calendar.
Peer Support:
When Information Isn’t Enough
Education is powerful but connecting with others who truly understand can be just as impactful. PRG offers a variety of peer support opportunities to ensure no one faces cancer alone. We offer groups for young adults, early stage, women of color, those dealing with metastatic disease, journaling, crafting, and more.
From virtual and in-person support groups to community events and one-on-one connections, our programs give people a safe space to share experiences, ask questions, and encourage each other. These connections can help ease feelings of isolation, provide hope, and offer practical tips that complement medical guidance.
Start Exploring Today
Whether you’re looking for trusted cancer information or meaningful connection, PRG is here for you at no cost.
