File at https://labor.alabama.gov/uc/ICCS/default.aspx or by calling 1-866- 234-5382. Benefits per week range from a minimum of $45 to a maximum of $275 (effective January 1, 2020) calculated using a base period of your past earnings. Generally, you will qualify for a set number of full benefit weeks ranging from 14-20 weeks. If you did not ask for a reduction in hours, it is possible to receive unemployment if you are working and your gross weekly earnings are less than your weekly benefit amount. You must register with the Alabama Career Center when applying and stay registered every week while certifying the claim, and develop a plan for searching for work. A list of important reminders is here: https://labor.alabama.gov/uc/TOP%2010.pdf.

State Clinical Trials Law
The ACA requires that most, non-grandfathered, group health plans provide coverage for the routine costs when participating in clinical trials. Some states have more consumer protections. Click here for more information about clinical trials.
No coverage mandated (Current 6/2/11).
