As founders of Triage Cancer, and experienced cancer rights attorneys, we saw a gap in the cancer community for a comprehensive, up-to-date resource on the legal issues that often impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers. Our primary goals in writing this book are to generate more awareness of the cancer-related legal issues that often arise as a result of a cancer diagnosis and to cultivate more advocates to assist individuals diagnosed with cancer and their families, friends, and caregivers in navigating those

Ensuring that individuals diagnosed with cancer have access to health care and adequate health insurance, can maintain their income while in treatment, and can pay for their basic needs, can impact their health outcomes, improve qualify of life, and ultimately save lives.
