As founders of Triage Cancer, and experienced cancer rights attorneys, we saw a gap in the cancer community for a comprehensive, up-to-date resource on the legal issues that often impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers. So, we wrote Cancer Rights Law: An Interdisciplinary Approach, for the American Bar Association.

We wrote this bookkeeping in mind that the lack of awareness of the law and failure to recognize its power to help people has been a barrier to people getting their needs met.

This is the first book of its kind to address these legal topics through the lens of cancer diagnosis.
